Keegan was born and raised on Salt Spring Island —west coast of Canada. He went skiing in Kashmir, India in 2010, spent 2011 at UBC Vancouver and in 2012 moved to Squamish, BC, to complete a BA&Sc at Quest University Canada. At Quest, he studied the psychology of imagery in an image saturated world (peak Instagram years). His honours thesis combined projection art, an examination of social media and an analysis of political propaganda and conservation imagery.
Through photography & guiding, he’s been able to work throughout the PNW and Polar regions.
These days you can find Keegan living on an offshore sailboat downtown Victoria in the winters, and out and about in the summers wherever work leads.
